How does Dermaplaning it work?
The tool that is used throughout the Dermaplaning procedure looks very similar to a razor you would usually use to shave away body hair. Essentially the procedure consists of the aesthetic practitioner slowly dragging a sterile blade at a 45-degrees angle across the area of the treatment. In doing so, the dead skin cells, scar tissue or other dirt on top of the skin will be removed.
Dermplaning is a very efficient way of clearing away all of those damaged skin cells on the area of the treatment, allowing new skin cells to grow in their place.
During the procedure, you won’t feel any pain. It is common to feel a slight tingling sensation during the treatment. The whole procedure should last around 30 minutes.
